Trainning

So trainning has begun here in Moab. All of the new guides have shown up and are really excited. It is funn watching them figure things out, try to row the boats, and ctand there until you cangive them something to do. Monday the return guides took them all out for a thrilling run down the daily, just to get them a little bit of a warm up. Then we went over warehouse snadel. Tues and Wed it was of to do Westwater 4 times in 2 days fun for them long for the rest of us. Watching the friendships develop is a cool thing. the first 2 days they would hardly talk to eachother and now the are all the best of friends. Weds night we got back to the warehouse derigged westwater and rigged for Desolation canyon. The next day bright and early we were of on the 6 hour drive to the put in. 89 miles of sitting around made me feel very lazy, but it was good time on the oars for the trainies. It turned out to be cold and rainy for most of the trip what better way to break them in. We pulled off yesterday and head out on Cataract canyon in a day or two. I am hoping that my rib will hold up.
