The name is Marcus. I try to live for the experience and the story after. Most of the time I will be out and about on the water or up a route. I live in Salt Lake City, UT. The adventurous type or I like to think so. Other then that ask me or read it. Enjoy the blog or don't.

Bungalow on the beach
So for the next three months This is what my life will consist of. I fly to L.A. on the night of the 14th from L.A. it is off to San Jose, Costa Rica. I will be living with my good friend Zach Heybrum and Andrew Taylor whom we will be working for. The bungalow we will be living in is roughly 100 yards from the beach in a small surfing town. We will be taking the local business owners down the river trying to get rcommendations for future business. The river sections are all daily sections so we will have our night for surfing and exploring. On the days that there are no trips we will be taking our kayaks and exploring possible sections to raft. I will be trainning the local guides that Andrew will be hiring. In November the high water season so we will get to do some amazing sections of water such as the upper upper pacquere which has a clean 30 foot water fall that I am hoping to hit. Just after Christmas I have a few buddies on their flying in and we are going to be boating like made. From there it is back to southern Utah to a great job that is waiting for me leaving me time to travel and live life. For the next few months this blog will be a hopeful play by play of Costa rica. I have a new camera on the way to document it. this camera can take being in the water so no worries there.
